I'm going to guess that the Amiga was used to make a portion of the media that interested me the most, back in the 80s. (I was born in '80)
Yeah, video stuff (Genlocking, titling and early 3D effects)
Can you point to any one use of the Amiga's power in the creation of popular media?
I'm not disputing you. I'm looking to learn more, with this question.
Search for:
- Newtek Video Toaster
It was used for video stuff in lots of TV and movie production studios.
Also:
- Lightwave 3D used for Deep Space 9.
The Amiga was also used at NASA for calculating/simulating trajectories and space stuff.
