We never had games. I played in the African bush with my dogs, learned to shoot, scouted for wildlife on the farm, etc.
I loved Uncle Mike's "hide the pickle game".
Sonic, Maniac Mansion, Sim City, PSO,
AGE OF EMPIRES II
I don't know if it counts as a favorite because I honestly scarcely remember the game itself, but the original Mechwarrior was the first video game I ever played, and I still enjoy the series.
Holds a special place for me.
Yeah, if you're still following the series due to that initial spark of love, then it counts.
Pong. (Technically "Table Tennis" or "1")
And it really was less a case of "favourite game" and more one of "only game."
I have tons of favorites but these are the ones I've really spent tons of hours on:
Prince of Persia (Amiga)
Robin Hood (Amiga)
F/18 Interceptor (Amiga)
I can't tell what type of console you preferred......
"console" Triggered.
If you have a computer dedicated to games, then it's a gaming console. Get over it.
The Amiga wasn't just a console, it was an amazingly advanced computer back in the 80s.
That's true. I heard about it from some of my friends, back when all we could afford was a TRS-80.
CivII, SimCity, Lemmings, Lego Island
Combat (Atari 2600)
Contra (NES)
Spyro the Dragon 2: Ripto's Rage (PS1)
Red rocket
Pipe dream, street fighter, donkey Kong, Tetris on the game boy.
Tetris on gameboy is one of my all times. Still fun for hours.
We had an original game boy and a game boy color and a cable to connect the two so we played agianst eachother. One long car trips we played a tournament.
Heh, fun times. Still got my original gameboy, need to fix the screen but otherwise it works (missing two lines). One of my favorite portables ever.
NFS III (pc)
Crash team racing (PS1)
Spyro (the first one) (PS1)
Pokemon gold (GBC)
Return to castle wolfenstein (PC)
Though, to be fair, it was more my uncles who played RTCW, I kinda struggled getting past the first level until I was a bit older, and then I played the shit out of it.
