It's not apples to apples, but in rough comparison pitbulls are like guns. Nothing wrong with em at all directly, but you should know what the fuck you've got there, can't just leave one unattended around children, etc. The pitbull is not a pet any more than the gun is a toy. You might work with your pitbull and the kids and it can feel like a friendly part of your family. But it's not a fucking golden retriever or such and you have to always keep that in mind. You and your kids might have fun shooting, target practice, etc. But your gun still is not a toy and you have to deliberately prevent your family from ever treating it as one. Theoretically I'm fine with pitbulls. Just be fucking responsible for your dog. I'm probably fine with most poalrs having pitbulls as most of ya'll are reasonable. But I'm stuck in a (((diverse))) society where morons and coloreds treat pitbulls bred for violence like fluffy the cuddle pup and then scream not their fault and totally unforeseeable when it acts like the violent animal it is.
