20 ft. It's open on top so crap and stuff can fall in. I mean I could drink safely but it's kinda gross. I mostly use it to water the garden. I could run the water through a filter like a zero water pitcher. Actually I may try that this weekend.

Oh, nice. Maybe my famIly is just retarded but we grew up drinking well water with only a sediment filter. Granny’s been drinking that water for 25 years and she’s still kicking. May not be able to do that if the oil niggers are fracking near you though.
