I actually have jury duty notice for middle of next month. I wonder when the right time to express my thoughts on jury nullification will be.
LOL - before they begin selecting. You're out and get credit for the service, hopefully.
That's kind of what I'm thinking. I would be all for serving, by my job is really busy right now, and I'd rather nail that down so I can enjoy the summer than spend a week messing around on jury duty.
I get that, but if I was on trial, I'd wan't someone like me on the jury.
I only did jury duty once. It lasted less than a couple of hours from jury election through verdict. It was an idiot young girl who was one of those sovereign citizen types who refused to believe that she needed to have a drivers license r register her car. She tried spouting Thomas Jefferson and John Adams and all that constitution doesn't require me stuff ... prosecutor just said a couple lines of, yeah, ya do ... trial over ... guilty.
I got an easy one.
Most likely you will not actully have to serve. I got called once, made it to the court room but they picked the jury before I even had to make it to the jury box. So a few hrs wasted but that's it.
Let the verdict do the talking.
2nd'd , don't express your thoughts, don't give the anyone any reason to accuse you of bias, just enforce Natural Law and be cool.
