I know it may be considered a bad take and I am aware of how this tech could easily become evil. I have worked with those with severe brain injuries etc. And I think this technology could help many people and lead the way for more break throughs.. like all technology a double edged sword.

It could help so many in such amazing ways, if it was in the right hands. When is something like this EVER in the right hands?

This technology has the potential to reverse brain injury. So, it could have the potential to restore brain function in Alzheimer's patients. Fuck, we should have had this technology decades ago- but you know the freaks at the top keep this shit under wraps for decades before it ever makes a public appearance. Bet you all the freaks in congress have some sort of chip in their brain that manipulates their behavior on some level.

And let's get even spookier- A lot of scientists and other people examined the clot shot under a microscope, and saw some really strange, inexplicable things. Could they have contained little nanomachines? Why not? Maybe they stimulate a part of the brain that calms you down in the face of abject wrongness, which will make you go along with anything you're told. I imagine the effects of something like this would be very subtle, and the person under its influence might nto even be aware of it.

It's going to be awkward when they install this device in someone who has lived a vegetative life and the person tells them to kill them.

Voluntary euthanasia is already legal in many places I think those in vegetative states should have that choice.
