And let's get even spookier- A lot of scientists and other people examined the clot shot under a microscope, and saw some really strange, inexplicable things. Could they have contained little nanomachines? Why not? Maybe they stimulate a part of the brain that calms you down in the face of abject wrongness, which will make you go along with *anything* you're told. I imagine the effects of something like this would be very subtle, and the person under its influence might nto even be aware of it.
