They do, but they can be fixed by nearly anyone who went through a highschool vocational program. Most of the time you can do it yourself if you have the right tools and it's a common problem. Not so worth electric vehicles that are locked down in software, require proprietary tools, and have no aftermarket parts.

Agreed, but most ICE cars built after 2010 or so are just about irreparable as well. Shit looks like a spaceship under the hood and the computers are just as bad as electric cars.
