I had the same type of conversation with a "lady" that uses dating sites. I was doing some Handyman work and noticed she stepped back inside the house. I figured she probably went inside to get me some water since it was 90 plus degrees out here. 1hr later doesn't show up. I knock walk in the house she's sitting on the couch texting away. You mind if I get some water it sure is hot out there. Sure help yourself. 🙄 I say, "ya know you really need a Handyman around your house instead of a companion" Next time your texting away there on your phone give the guy a test. Ask him what the difference is between a 3/8th inch or 1/4 inch thread and if he can't answer immediately stop talking to him you'll have better results. Got the glazed over normie I can't believe you just said that look. Went back to texting.
