The U.S. government also destroyed books and pamphlets during/after WW2. Since they used book burnings as an effective propaganda tool against the Germans and didn’t want to look like a bunch of fucking hypocrites, they “pulped” the books instead.

Supposedly “Nazi Propaganda” - books and pamphlets. The articles are sparse and appear to reference a Time Magazine article published back in the 40’s. I have seen it before so I know it exists, just having a difficult time finding it.
