Almost all coyotes are now dog/coyote hybrids, especially near populated areas. One of my dogs liked to chase coyotes at a nearby park at night, but after three or four times he started hanging out with them. If I had to guess, that's a coyote with some shibu inu or cattle dog crossed in. I don't know that coyote's temperament, but that girl better watch out. They have surprisingly strong jaws and go for the neck.
