To note, any of you who’ve followed me on here know I moved “to the country.” The reason is because my father needed one of his children to help him. I signed up. His general practitioner has the surname of “Kiker.” Kinda funny. What’s not funny is the aging process.

I don’t know how he made it for the last few years on his own. Taking all his medications appropriately is one hell of a task alone.

The realization of my dad not being a superhero has been a tough pill to swallow.

Yeah! It took 15 years for parkinson's to finally take my dad. It is a terrible terrible thing to have to give the strongest man in the world his bath because he can't do it himself. That's why I want to do a "Grand Torino" on my way out. I've got a brother that always said if he gets some incurable disease and knows his life is over he wants to load up with as much ammo as he can carry and walk right down the middle of the street with the most niggers on it that he can find and just start blasting away! Take out as many as he can before they take him out! LOL

It’ll be interesting if your brother follows through but I think many of us say that we don’t want to get sick/frail/hurt but our wiring doesn’t let us walk away. It’s seems most of us are destined to live while barely being alive for some period of time.

Yes, you seem to be right about that. I don't think my brother will follow through with that plan. It was more of a fantasy than something he will actually do.
