Kinda these 2 things aren't exclusive, when EU Nations could pay in Euro's it wasn't a problem and Europe got 40% of their annual gas stock from Russia, but after Russia declared they are only willing to accept the Ruble for payment starting April (iirc) did the EU cite sanctions for Ukraine, but i do agree NATO/globo-homo are gaslighting Russia in geo-political bs. Ultimately, Europe doesn't need to have a gas shortage or any increase in prices, but are willing to freeze their own people just to spite themselves.
