I remember hearing about this too. Just the thought of a pres who would kick them out got thousands to leave the US and go back to mexico. They figured, better to leave when and how I want than be kicked out by ICE. This is a potential big white pill for us. The effects that political climate can send can do much of the work for us, Their major news outlets very much cover american immigration enforcement policy, they know what their viewers care about, so even if it isn't mainstream news here, you bet the mexicans know what the US immigration stuff is about at any given moment.
