I make money doing them. They payout in gift cards and I always choose Amazon online cards or get prepaid debit cards mailed to me so I can use them anywhere. It's beer money. I do them while drinking. Most survey sites will only let you cash out when you reach $20 and they're the shitty ones. I found an app that let's you cash at $5 minimum. But it's also a lot of repetitive questions and if you don't answer truthfully about your age, race, location and how much you earn, you'll get disqualified but still get paid like 5-10¢ for trying out the survey. The survey company asks a bunch of questions about you when you sign up (age, race, income) then pays you $5 and then let's you choose which surveys you wanna do depending on the time it takes and how much the survey pays - which is normally 50¢ for 5 minutes of questions - sometimes you have to watch ads and type in a certain letter amount(40 - 300) about how you feel about them. Sometimes they're not worth it and I quit and get paid 10-25¢. If you're gonna do them, make sure you sign up as a minority group - Mexican, black etc. Because you'll get more survey opportunities.
