Shit like this is what makes me worry about all the internal batteries in products. I actually keep older things I'm not using in the oven, in case they ever catch fire spontaneously. Phone batteries, old phones with non-removable batteries, laptop batteries, etc.

Smart move. I remember that I buy new battery for my old Samsung phone, and notice that this battery are little inflated. I decide to keep it, just to show to my son when he visit me. After week or so when he visit me I show him battery which are inflated much, much more, like balloon. Funny things are that I keep this battery on table under papers. I did not expect that the battery was in such a bad condition and that it could catch fire at any moment. God know how many old battery people keep in his houses.

This shit can be even more dangerous because on first look new, good looking car can spontaneously burst in flame. In middle of tunnel for example. But more serious issue for owners are Battery degradation and occasional failures. One single battery can destroy entire battery pack and cost $20k + happy EV owners. So such shit can burn your pocket.

"Firefighters reportedly had a difficult time putting out the blaze as the battery kept reigniting every time from residual heat. Eventually, they managed to put out the fire by submerging the car in water. To do that, the firefighters dug a hole in the ground, put the car in it and then filled the hole with water. "

Then just bury the car I'm sure a garden will sprout since the cars made out of dead vegans.
