Yep. He pens music for the masses designed for films for the masses. Predictable. Lowest common denominator. Nothing too challenging. Did he have some hits early on? Sure. Do hits always equate to good? It's the rare specimen that does not criss-cross applesauce themselves across the formulaic Rubicon of repeat and cliche. And glomming Zimmer and Djawadi or any other composer onto the conversation might not be the best stratagem to bolster your argument. All composers of note develop a distinct voice. Williams just happens to evoke a yawn and an eyeroll.
I'll let you in on a little trade secret; Emotionally based ad hominem attacks are another sign and symptom of a weak argument. It's not personal, Sonny. It's strictly business. Wisdom comes from incorporating lessons learned from past mistakes and refraining from repeating them. And the good news is that you've got a lotta opportunity for improvement. Cheers!
