Big slot is neutral, skinny slot is hot, hole is ground. If its wired correctly anyway

Maybe true if you're DIY a whole new circuit. If you're replacing a receptacle all of that is irrelevant. Just get a $2 outlet tester and if it's good wire the new one the way the old one was before. It's not hard.

You should have seen the fun way I learned about MWBCs the hard way replacing a receptacle.
