If you look at the right edge of the girl you can see an older damaged photo. This is not a before and after of a single image, it's two different images side by side with a sliding control that shows the old and new versions of both photos, the slider in the middle showing a before and after of each image is misleading.

Even ignoring the gender change, it's clear they don't want to show actual examples, instead just showing a new, good photo as the supposed after photo.
