we grow it for our kits; they absolutely lose it over fresh-picked nip, especially compared to the bought stuff.

We had a cat that wandered in and stayed for over 20 years. We think he was about 23 when he passed. He loved eating and rolling in the patches of catnip that grow wild in the woods. We buried him on a little knoll overlooking the lake, and I transplanted a few plants there to mark the spot.

Yeah, I guess I'm not the only one "suffering" with "cat derangement syndrome." I only have five of the furry beasts. Or should I say, they have me...

True. I've had quite a few cats and a few dogs in my days, but none that I connected with like I did with that cat.

What most people do not know including me till recently that catnip is part of the mint family of plants.

Catnip activates the cat's sexual programming.
