It was at the point where I already knew what a shit hole SoCal hotspots had turned into but my friends insisted on doing the tourist things and ignored my pleas to visit Newport or Laguna Beach instead. Javier's or The Montage on PCH for lunch or dinner. Instead we dodged human shit and feral looking niggers in DTLA. They certainly got the Los Angeles experience, just not what they expected, lol.
