I don't know. Seems pretty smart to me.
Any candidate that brought up the issues with that sentence of the job description would be displaying assertiveness, analytical thinking, attention to detail, basic intelligence, and so forth. And how they went about mentioning it would give you insight into their social skills and mannerisms.
That company could have the only hiring manager in the country with a triple digit IQ. You never know.
More likely though, the plebian HR pissant just fucked up, will take it personally, and come up with some bullshit reason to shit on your interview.

I would probably laugh while pointing it out assuming its a joke/test before realizing i had probably overestimated avg people again when they responded in a bitchy manner.

So it serves both parties. They get to see how you handle things like that, and you likewise. If they respond this way, they've saved you finding this out months later.
