It's nothing but mispronounced "black" and no more offensive than calling someone "white." I think we should start a campaign to ban the use of ~~ALL~~ adjectives for anything for ~~any~~ reason. They teach ~~inherent~~ ~~judgemental~~ subjectiveness and have no place in ~~modern~~ society.
