I actually have a copy of that print hanging in the front hall. The bottom is covered by the frame. Nothing brings a smile to my face like having one of my wife's friends ask about it. Then I ask innocently, "Oh that? Tell me, what drew your attention to it?" Then I just nod, and listen while they wax eloquently about what they like about it. Then I say thank you, turn, and start to move on down the hall.
Waiting for that special moment, when they say, "But you still never told me who the artist is."
And that's when I turn. And smile. "You know, you're right. How thoughtless of me."
"Well, you see, his birthname was different than the one he started painting under, the name that never really brought him sufficient attention as an artist..."
Wtf, I just spent like 20 minutes on the shitter trying to figure out who this “Vigo the Carpathian” guy was. He’s not even real, just a character from Ghostbusters II. And apparently that’s not even a painting, it’s a photograph:
He’s not even real
Are you sure? I would like to think that the character is based on a real person from that era. One can only guess that someone who has been that thoroughly expunged from history must have killed jews by the wagonload.
Best place to buy these?
I wouldn't know now. I got mine years ago.

Folksters! Just a remainder. Everything you're seeing now you won't be seeing later, when the site goes down and is restored, so any posts, links or other BS you want to procrastinate on...ya best be saving it.
I can't zoom in, and I'm not familiar with most art, but based on your comment, I'm gonna guess its a shickelgruber?
No, it has AH's sig. That's why the frame covers it. Otherwise they might see it and completely ruin both the setup, and the punchline.
I think that painting is good. I kinda want one now
