I hope he's not an English or Philosophy professor because I don't think he understands the definition of predestination.

I wouldn't drop his class. He's already assigned grades, so there's no point in doing any work. I could get lucky, or if I fail, then I complain to the dean with this video as evidence.

A lot of tenured professors feel like this. Generally these are smart, hardworking, organized people. They wasted all their talent and career working inside a stupid system geared towards taking advantage of, and propping up stupid people. As you look back on your career, its full of nothing. Young people just brown nosing, or doing the bare minimum to get through class. A sea of mediocrity. In the social media area, you may find a student that you labeled as an idiot, doing far better in every aspect of his life, more money, hotter wife, all at a younger age. That shit can eat you up if you have an ego on you.

Compare this to an entrepreneur, or even a good blue collar worker. You get much more dynamic relationships in those kinds of fields with your coworkers and clients. You can think back about the deals you made, the shit you got everyone out of, the great feeling you get one someone tells you how awesome you are and hands you a big ass check. He never got any of that.

Its annoying when a guy like him becomes a teacher, you can set students back, or be the straw that breaks someone. The only job more dangerous for a guy with that personality type to have is cop.

This is why college is a waste of money

This is why our CURRENT college system, infested with dirty libs and jeuden, is fucked up and a waste of time. I can honestly admit that I am using nothing I learned in college, minus the things i taught myself in terms of how to speak to people ans doing group work and leadership abilities, etc, but technical knowhow... fuck that. It was just a scam to get my money and give me a piece of shitty paper at the end of it.

I have a Masters degree from a major university. In the first week of classes, we had a meeting with the PhD level students. One was honest enough to tell us that after 2 years of study, we would not be qualified to do much of anything in the field. She said that the degree was the equivalent of an academic union card. It was required to get certain jobs in the field but all the real world education would be on-the-job once we got a job. The degree was just an introduction to the field and a method to limit the number of candidates for Masters level jobs. She was 100% correct.

Is that what you get at the end of union training?
