The request was sent up the chain, but they were tract homes and I don't think they offered much customization. At first, they thought the guy was just clueless about the measurements and kept explaining "that's the middle of the house, sir". The guy then goes on to describe this glass bathroom that you'd step up to, with a rim around the top for curtains and an open area in the front, a sort of "bathroom stage". So the joke around the office for while was about walking into this guy's house to use the bathroom and then having the curtain open up to a waiting audience.
