Who is in lockdown?
I tried to have a drink over the Christmas holiday. It tasted like ass.
Tried to have a glass of wine with a fancy dinner, the first Christmas after quitting booze, back in 2017. Took one sip, and all of the sudden my mind became flooded with all of the bad and terrible things that came with my old super superior advanced drinking habit. Asked the waitress to take it away... no there's nothing wrong with it, it's me.
Haven't even tried to sip on anything since. You could pour a line of shots of my old favorite whiskey right in front of me, wouldn't bother me one bit. Been almost 5 years now. I get a totally different feeling looking at a bottle of booze than I used to.
That's good that you can keep out of it. I started to have an issue with it years ago, a friend pulled me out before it got bad to the point where I needed the drink to get by. Some stuff tastes ok now, but most of it just tastes like bleeeeeech.
Alcohol sucks.
I wouldn't say it sucks, but it is a thing to be wary of.
It sucks. The point of drinking is to get high. Iv done every drug you could name and a million you never heard of and id rather do any of them than drink. Alcohol is a a short period time where it makes you feel good the rest of it is headaches and vomiting
