PBR is a high end brand in China. The bottles even look vaguely like Champaign bottles.

Canned soda water costs more than horse piss.

[–] [deleted] 2 pts

There's a market for horse piss. Deer and bear piss are top dollar in the piss market.

Huh. 12 packs of soda (Coke, Pepsi, 7-Up products) around here can usually be had 4 for $10.

I should have said seltzer water. Carbonated canned tap water.

When I got out of the service a 6 pack of Busch beer was $1.89. Head for the mountains!

That's a pretty good deal for that Miller.

i'm a cheap bastard, so I'd definitely drink the PBR.

The PBR is literally cheaper than water.

Reminds me of the joke why is Miller lite like making love in a canoe?

They're both fucking near water.

What water? My tap water is 4.5 gallons for one cent. If you run reverse osmosis like I do you have to pay 3 times as much because 2/3 of it is "waste." Add the annual $50 for membranes and carbon filters and it comes out to about 4.6 cents a gallon. $3.99 a 12-pack is $3.55 a gallon. Even a case of 40 0.5 liter bottles of water is about $3.75, or 71 cents a gallon.

tl;dr:

Pabst $3.55/gallon Water $0.05 - $0.71/gallon

is that pic from 10 years ago?

At that price? I would buy ALL of the PBR! Miller has formaldehyde in it.
