I am always suspicious when a language has a specific word for a specific form of degeneracy. In some cases and languages like English and German, this is just a form of smashing words together (sister+fucker) but in a lot of languages they have specific, unique words for these things and that always worries me. Like how prevelant does something need to be in your culture for this to happen?

Bitch 'sister fucker' is nothing unique to any one culture, if anything, Indian's were more advanced for realizing fucking your own sister was a bad thing for such a long time.
Sibling marriages were common place throughout all off Judaism / Christianity / Islam, and in a lot of places today still are along with first cousin marriage.

What I replied with explains your point much better though. Other countries didn't realise that fucking your sister was a bad thing well past the invention of modern medicine and genetic understanding. And it still happens in a lot monotheistic cultures, especially among redneck Americans, and throughout the middle east among both Muslims and Jews.
