They've skipped the vast majority of letters. Out of nowhere. Went back a few times in various places. Memory holed it, then went back again. This is a sad coincidence. Still funny though. But mroe cringe/sigh/ugh than funny.

So to this date while they did skip Nu it had been reported in the press that it was a variant that had already been named. I guess that they didn't want to confuse the goyim. The only other letter skipped has been Xi, which was the reason for this post.

edit: One of the things that I noticed today was that the press was reporting that the new variant was "Nu" even before those cocksuckers at the WHO had officially named it. They probably got a bit scared that if they named the new "variant" (lol) "Nu" then that the next "variant" would obviously be named "Xi" before they could get ahead of the press.
Skip 2 letters ahead and the problem was solved for the Poo Bear man.
