excellent points. I agree. Kids should be kids. No need to bog them down in adult conversations while they are still kids.
I'm not sure I completely agree. When they are young they need to be told things by someone. Parents preferably, for the sake of their own self preservation. 100 years ago kids worked factory jobs and had much more world experience as a matter of necessity. Shielding children from the world had it's merits, but also limitations. When government bodies are subverting children by administering things like vaccines in public schools without parental consent or knowledge you have to arm them with things like talking points. As my children have matured are get a better understanding of the world, my wife and I transition them to research and critical thought.
So, imo both sides of this coin are correct. If the degenerates left kids out of their shit I'd be more supportive of "let kids be kids" without the influence of the adult world.
Kids need to be kids....if the setting calls for that.... Playground, sports, and the like. However, they also need to be taught the "ways of the world" when need be. If the situation warrants such schooling.
