They aren't based, they're indoctrinated. These are the words of their parents. I personally find this just as disgusting as when the liberals do it.
I agree that they are saying what they have been told by their parents. But how do you figure that is being "indoctrinated"? Kids learn from their parents, or school. Would you rather them parrot what Fauci says?
Because first they told their kids all that stuff, to the point where they actually remembered talking points, and then the parents sent them to be be further indoctrinated by whoever the fuck that guy is. That isn't a result of kids picking up passing conversation, that's teaching it directly, and as a doctrine. Those kids don't know the how or the why or the what about what they're saying, they just know that's what they were told. That's indoctrination.
No, I would rather they not parrot anyone. That's my whole point. They need to be taught how to think, not what to think. If what you think is correct, they'll get their on their own as long as they know how to get there. Beyond that, let them be kids and not worry about this kind of shit.
excellent points. I agree. Kids should be kids. No need to bog them down in adult conversations while they are still kids.
Maybe in some sense there is no such thing as an unindocrinated kid. Maybe that's not bad. Maybe we try to teach them what we think will be the most helpful to them and just know that we did our best.
