I actually had a whole job where like 6 months of it was “find something to do, we’ll get it billed and get you paid”

That job was crazy but it shipped me around the globe. and I love that

And it was fair too, the guy was just a crazy lier who he set the job contracts up with. I was always billed as a top tier expert in something I’ve never used before then I’d just show out of the flight “oh I’m an expert in this? Of course I am! (Wtf man, boss)

I have an employee who doesn't like to write code, although capable. He likes to research. I tried to have him moved to another team or fired but my boss won't let me. During our scrum meetings, he's always very busy "discovering" or "learning".
