On the CTS-V you have to take the whole front bumper cover off to replace a headlight bulb. It is so friken stupid.

Ah but there is a way to do it without taking the bumper completely off.

Yeah you can loosen the bolt at the corner of the bumper which allows you to move the bumper a little forward which then allows you to get at the bolts that hold the light in. Then once you loosen those you can move the light forward and get at the bulb. It's been a few years since I worked on those so maybe web search that to make sure and for some more details if you need.
