Dune is boring as fuck.
I turned it off after a half hour. I'm not gonna waste my time sitting through a movie that drags itself along. If I'm not feeling it within a half hour, I turn it off. I have more productive things to do with my time and I'm not going to waste it on a movie I don't like.

dune is very difficult to film adequately even with the best of intentions, go read the books instead of giving jeweywood your attention.

I was pretty bored and did the same.
Tons of eye candy and flashy production costumes but a dull narrative and story. Wasn't dragging me in at all besides the visuals but I'm about dialogue and story for film.
