I'm going to disagree with the McD.L.T, it was in no way superior to the Whopper. It was basically just an unassembled standard quarter pounder that included lettuce and tomato. I gave it a meh/10

Not true.

A standard quarter pounder is ketchup and mustard only, no mayonnaise (thousand island).

The McD.L.T was superior in all ways , mainly the tomato ripeness, and the temperature contrasts.

Its not just a quarter pounder with lettuce and tomato. It had every element of a whopper except char broil scent

Dude I ate plenty of them back in the 80s during college, I know what I'm talking about. I'm (unfortunately) a Burger expert. ;)

For you to be correct, there was a Whopper clone that tasted bad and had no mayonnaise , just ketchup and mustard. A Whopper clone as you described above... it was this :
