My quick estimated math would suggest that 2% of the population (black, male, between 15-35) accounts for >50% of the violent crimes in the US. (Black women commit crimes, but not at the rate of black men. And, before 15 and after 35, the violent crime rate is an order of magnitude less.)
Do you have stats that would help confirm / debunk this?
I took time to show stat tables showing that age 17 or less, BLACKS as a percent are far far more likely to commit crimes that Whites, but... its a percentage chart, not an incidence table. Black incidence arrests need to be known, but minors under US law are not "technically arrested" nor "charged" nor even "have a jury trial".
