Edison largely took credit for inventions made by people and teams working for him, and was mainly good at self-promotion rather than engineering. He also screwed over as many engineers as he could for profit, notably Tesla.

So having a black woman play him seems legit to me.

Jews spread a lot of those smears in recent decades.

The actual patents show TEAMs names, often, except for his >99% Edison-only patents.

But yes, teams works on many of those most significant inventions, as they were all mostly engineering endeavors.
