Lol I was watching some free nature documentary about the Alps and I could tell all the camera person segments were dubbed so it probably wasn't a Brit or US documentary. Anyway, they get to this bit about trout and how the native trout were dynamite fished to near extinction so they introduced rainbow trout from the US but now the recovering native trout population are struggling to compete against the foreign trout they brought in, in the 70's... except some of the trout interbreed, so "it's okay" now the alps will now have "cultured trout."
That's when I said to myself "It's got to be German!" and of course the credits proved me right.
