Oatmeal has been a staple of mine since I was a kid. But I don't really pay attention to the supposed extra health benefits because all kinds of stuff is constantly getting invented. For example I wasted money on fish oil for years because it was supposed to be some miracle and now it's common knowledge it was just more snake oil.

I dunno I just eat canned sardines for a snack and some kinda fish once a week. Beats taking fish oil which goes rancid and gives you terrible stomach pain.
