Many high end scopes have a marked zero point. They normally zero and then adjust for the shoot. So long as the rifle/scope was properly zeroed in and set on the scope these types of things are not an issue.

Yup, that's why you keep a dope book. Even if the knobs don't adjust to zero, you just write down where your zero is.
