“How about you fuck off instead? Oh and gym memberships, we demand gym memberships.”
“Your terms are acceptable.”
That's what I love about the critique that we should have had conditional withdrawal. But the conditional part was basically asking our enemy to surrender even though we were losing. Those conditions would have never been met. Instead the happy medium would have been unconditional withdrawal over a period of a month or two.
What ever happened to "We do not negotiate with terrorists, because if we cave once for them, they will repeat their activities"?
We lost once we started asking for things from our fucking mortal enemies who will literally blow themselves up if it means just maiming one American. These are a people for whom "force" is the ultimate moral. And we spoke that language with them for a few years, almost had them beaten- but of course our wonderful leaders then made our military operations neutered.
