Owning an electric car is its own punishment.
Electric cars, especially the Tesla, are a no go for me as a software engineer.
Self-driving + internet connection + everything in the car can be remotely controlled = glowniggers OWN you.
I'm sure it does suck driving by the gas station and laughing at the prices. They probably wake up every morning sad that they can only drive 30 miles on a dollar of electricity while smarter people can drive a whole 5 or 6 miles on a dollar of gas. They probably have to take Prozac from being able to fill up at home.
They have to take Prozac from the stress of trying to get home on a dwindling charge. However, they do get to take an hour break to recharge and destress mid road trip for distances more than 350 miles. Assuming they stayed inside the Tesla recharge geofence.
