They have to take Prozac from the stress of trying to get home on a dwindling charge. However, they do get to take an hour break to recharge and destress mid road trip for distances more than 350 miles.
Any asshole that starts a drive without enough gas to get where they're going and no plans to get more deserve the stress.

Because it costs more money in gas than it costs to buy a second car. Then you don't waste the Suburban on commuter miles.
That car gets like 18 miles combined mpg. So that’s like $8 a day for 50 miles, $160 a month. How is that even significant?
