Voat/Poal is okay. I wish there were more sites like it. I don't expect much, especially living through the rise and fall of Reddit and Rogan Board. I like closed sites like this that are small and stay off the lips of normies and NPCs but big enough that you can have a constructive social/community experience. 4Chan's only flaw at this point is they are way too well known and at this point highly regulated for multiple purposes that run in parallel.
I would love to see the internet go back to the old days where everyone online had 5,10,20 independent sites and chatrooms they frequented. The consolidation of the internet is becoming offensive to me at this point.
The genie never gets stuffed back in the bottle. This is the new norm, I’m afraid.
I missed the good times at 4chan, now it’s modded by Troons and an obvious honeypot, same with Reddit and the rest.
I’d sure like to know the actual bot/shill numbers across the social media sphere, bet its ginormous..
I hoping decentralized p2p of some sort comes along soon, I know it’s here but needs populated.
