That one just transends time and space. Never gets old.

The coup de gras is the seriousness with which the lady pronounces the names so as to NOT OFFEND ANYONE.

C'est magnifique.

"NTSB has confirmed those are the names of the 4 pilots"

Not a drill

For anyone interested, Fox later apologized for airing the racist joke, as these were not the real names of the pilots. In the article I read they still hadn't identified who was responsible. You go, teleprompter guy!

I like the fake sign language people. They crack me up.

Three Hopefully they went on to bigger and better pranks.

These guys used to pretend to be taxi drivers. They would hand the written 'names' to the announcers, saying they couldn't pronounce them.

I remember seeing this broadcast live. But what is missing is the day the crash happened: the same news station but with a different anchor and a different time slot said on air that as a policy they do not report pilots' names. That policy was never mentioned again in their subsequent groveling apology tour broadcasts that first threw some unidentified intern under the bus then eventually the producers and finally the anchor who said it was let go.

The person responsible for this is the absolute king of all shitlords. Fucking legend.

Imagine being that dude. Imagine growing old and knowing you pulled this off. Imagine having that as part of your legacy.

Imagine your kids being able to pull this up and show their kids what their gramps pulled off.

Alexander the Great conquered the known world but I wish this was my legacy.

Seeing this on TV at work that day and no one batting an eye was mind blowing.
