Conveniently outside of the range of recorded history. They don't change. Their argument is akin to saying we don't notice a tree growing each day, so we would never notice a difference in constellations. The problem is we have thousands of years of the same constellations. No difference at all. We can, in effect, look at a picture of the tree from 4000 years ago.
