So...I am asking seriously...how does this not present a serious problem for the heliocentric model? I am not trained in ANY space related science, but this seems like it would present navigational problems AND that is over 20° in 2000 years.

That isn't a problem because that is what is expected. Everything in the universe is moving therefor changes in the celestial bodies is expected and predicted in heliocentrism And thats why the average celestial pole will change every 3,000 years or so.

So, seriously, where is the ancient text that shows a different north star? 3000 years ago is well within recorded history, so we shoild have evidence of this. Instead, scientists will insist the pyramids were built two polar star cycles ago. As in, the pyramids were built at a time when polaris was the pole star, and then it wasn't, amd now it is again. I agree the heliocentric model is fine with the shift of the pole star, but the problem in my mind is that it does not seem to match observation.
