My thought exactly, if OP is true of course I was like, but then what if some spook agency started a surprise spam campaign, texting exactly that to every chinese users, on phones and computers? What would be the impact on the society and economy? I mean, if every device connected to the network crashes when such string lands on it... Thats a hell of a security flaw, and they brought it on themselves.
