I played a prank like this once. My friend got a Handspring Visor for her birthday from her husband. I happened to buy one a few months earlier, but it broke when I hit a turn wrong on my motorcycle. So, I swapped my broken one with her new one to see what would happen. She is White. So, everyone survived the joke. Eventually, after I let her anguish for a few minutes I showed her that I swapped it and because she is White, we all laughed. I gave her my broken one so she could go home and play the prank on her husband. Good times!
